Southeastern Guide Dogs transforms lives by creating and nurturing extraordinary partnerships between people and dogs. We operate the most advanced training facilities as our experts breed, raise, and train elite working dogs-including guide dogs, service dogs, and skilled companion dogs-and provide life-changing services for people with vision loss, veterans with disabilities, and children with significant challenges. We have successfully created thousands of guide and service dog teams throughout the U.S. since 1982, and oversee over 1,200 puppies and dogs.

All of our services-which include research on canine health & development; selective breeding; expert dog training; on-campus student instruction; and the most robust alumni support program in N. America-are provided at no cost. Donations sustain our mission and give freedom and hope to people who need it most. We are dually accredited by the International Guide Dog Federation and Assistance Dogs International.

The two most requested items to be sent overseas by U.S. service members are coffee and cigars. Operation: Cigars For Warriors (CFW) has shipped its one millionth cigar to United States troops deployed overseas in combat zones.

Cigars for Warriors is a volunteer-run and non-profit charity organization whose top priority is to collect and distribute premium cigars and accessories to U.S. service members serving in combat zones with their second priority serving our long-term deployed troops and those on Floats.

CFW has secured all of the regulatory requirements and verified ways to ensure that the cigars are getting to the individuals who request them. Individuals currently deployed can submit requests to "Cigars for Warriors: Request Cigars".

CFW collects cigars from individual donors by mail, at donation centers spread out across the United States, and at cigar events of all sizes and formats across the United States. Events are staffed by volunteer event coordinators and are typically held in conjunction with retail donation centers, cigar industry groups and manufacturers.

The Premium Cigar Association (PCA) is the leading authority and advocate for the premium cigar and pipe retailer industry. The PCA is dedicated to the current and future success of brick and mortar premium tobacconists. Founded in 1933 as the Retail Tobacco Dealers of America, the PCA is the largest, most active, and longest-running trade association representing and assisting premium tobacco retailers, manufacturers, and partners in the industry. We offer premier services in education, advocacy, and business development, helping protect our members’ businesses from unfair regulations while simultaneously helping them grow and succeed.

Cigar Rights of America (CRA) is the first and only grassroots, consumer-based public advocacy group fighting to protect the individual’s right to enjoy premium cigars. As the anti-tobacco movement’s reach has broadened over the past 20 years, CRA has continued to advocate for all facets of the premium cigar community. Membership is open to cigar enthusiasts across the country. Premium cigar manufacturers and retailers are also key CRA members. CRA was founded to ensure that everyone has the right to enjoy premium cigars and freely participate in a relaxing, social activity.As individuals, our influence is limited; but as a group, we make a difference.
